Guest guest
Hey Kim, You could try the nut yogurt variation - but it would be best used in smoothies or something to mask the taste. Also, it's really liquid, more than goat milk yogurt, so a drink would be best. Because otherwise you get into the really weird problem of how much you should drip it. What about lacto fermented vegetables - like ginger carrots, dilly beans, pickles, kim chee - the latter if they like hot stuff. They are just fermented with the bacteria from the veggies, it's not a dairy-based additive. Look at the bottom: http://hawthornevalleyfarm.org/greenmarket/gmproducts.htm#sauerkraut Also, Dr. McCandless has an online group for this - and I believe some (or all) of her PANDAS kids are on LDN. Here's the link for her Autism-LDN group - which I'm on - as she sometimes has interesting info. Also LDN is great for auto-immune disorders in kids as well as adults. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism_LDN/ And here's the link for the other one, though apparently you have to buy her book to join it: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/csb-autism-rx/ Mara > Mara, > It's for my sons - one of my sons trends toward PANDAS: > http://intramural.nimh.nih.gov/pdn/web.htm > He rarely " gets sick " with a strep infection, but instead goes > through about six weeks of nasty and incredibly difficult behavioral > swings due to the autoimmune reaction caused by his body trying to > fight off a strep infection.
