Yes, well! Hey, when I say " Don't do this! " it's usually

because I've done " this " and regretted it!

Chalk this up to the column of " don't do this! " because....!

Now, finding a decent SCD legal kefir starter...

Hey Kim,

You could try the nut yogurt variation - but it would be best used in

smoothies or something to mask the taste. Also, it's really liquid,

more than goat milk yogurt, so a drink would be best. Because

otherwise you get into the really weird problem of how much you

should drip it.

What about lacto fermented vegetables - like ginger carrots, dilly

beans,

pickles, kim chee - the latter if they like hot stuff. They are just

fermented

with the bacteria from the veggies, it's not a dairy-based additive.

Look at the bottom:

Also, Dr. McCandless has an online group for this - and I believe some

(or all) of her PANDAS kids are on LDN. Here's the link for her

Autism-LDN group - which I'm on - as she sometimes has interesting info.

Also LDN is great for auto-immune disorders in kids as well as adults.

And here's the link for the other one, though apparently you have to

buy her

book to join it:
