Guest guest
Mara, Sorry for the dely - huge email trouble. Yes, I am working on some nut milk/probiotic concoctions for my boys. Soaking these nuts before making the milk does make it creamy - about 6 hours in fridge. I got a 5# bag of whole blanched almonds from nutsonline.com, adn the small slivered too. Price wise, they were less expensive than WF or TJ's, but have not really made it a routine yet. If I do, and they like it, I will probably order from the almond flour place in Calif whose name escapes me right now . . . Nutsonline.com is in Newark,NJ and delivery was overnight for ground, and I did not have to lug them. PS - TJ's had the garelick products this week - but they all expired tomorrow, andthey are all with no additives. > > Kim, I believe you recently mentioned you were using > blanched almonds in almond milk and that it made the > almond milk creamier?
