Don't own one... my niece swears by hers. Better than a food processor?

Damifino! I'm trying to persuade myself that my new food processor is as

good as my old steel spoon and steel bowl!

Not better than one. But I imagine also useful. If you have the

counterspace and the

cabinet space. Handier and less cleanup for some smaller things. And

yes they

sell them elsewhere - I believe I've seen them at costco occasionally

- look it up

on amazon and bizrate.com for comparison shopping and find out.

My girlfriend was so excited to get one, and one day in costco she got one.

it looks... nice, but the functionality of it... useless ( in my opinion). it

really doesnt blend or process foods well. she tried making a pesto sauce,

everything just stayed stuck on the walls of the the processor. i would simply

get either a food processor or a blender. i've also read that the units break

after 6 months and replacing a part is as expensive as buying a new one.

Thats just my opinion

Hi,They do look useful However, WS's experience is probably common. I read a review of them, I think it was Cooks illustrated, and they suggested we're better of with a blender or food processor. It flunked their usefulness tests. They do not take advertising, which gives them the possibility of an un-biased perspective.Re: magic bullet/bullet expressPosted by: "wrench_suicide" wrench_suicide@... wrench_suicideTue Sep 15, 2009 10:04 am (PDT)My girlfriend was so excited to get one, and one day in costco she got one.it looks... nice, but the functionality of it... useless ( in my opinion). it really doesnt blend or process foods well. she tried making a pesto sauce, everything just stayed stuck on the walls of the the processor. i would simply get either a food processor or a blender. i've also read that the units break after 6 months and replacing a part is as expensive as buying a new one.Thats just my opinion>> anyone own one??? are they sold in stores -???saw infommercial last night and it looks so helpful -is it better than a food processor???> thanks Eileen>

Huh. I've already had arguments with it going together.

I will own it makes a nice batch of Caesar salad dressing.

I just have to ascertain how well it does with my next experiment for

peanut butter and cheese crackers. Which will be some time this weekend

since I work tomorrow, then do water therapy. On Thursday, I sit with my

Mom while my Dad has a check-up for his skin cancer surgery. Then go to

my own physical therapy appointment. And Friday I might get hot water

back.

Heh. SCD without a food processor? Not only possible -- I've been doing

it for eight years!

My mom has one. She uses it all the time for small quick jobs (smoothies,

grinding seeds/nuts, etc.). I think I bought it for her at Target, but that was

at least a couple years ago.
