Guest guest
Hi -- thanks for your kind words. I've been taking the Metagenics brand multivitamin called Multigenics -- I take 6-8 of those a day -- they're comprehensive and have the fat soluble vitamins in water soluble form (except for K). I'm switching over, actually, to a product called Vita4Life -- they're multivitamins that are especially formulated for bariatric patients. My order is in the mail. Those are about $50/month and are totally comprehensive. (www.vita4life.com) I have some DS friends who take these and say that they notice a decrease in bowel order and more formed stools when they're on them. I also take Fe-Tinic or Nu Iron (this has other names, too) an iron polysaccharide 150, that's available by prescription and also through the vitalady (www.vitalady.com) I also take Calcium in the Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite form -- supposed to be best absorbed by malabsorbers. In addition to that, I also take the Metagenics Ultra Flora Plus DF (probiotics to keep my gut healthy). I also take Grapefruit Seed Extract (15 drops in a capsule) -- I found this last year and it helps keep yeast overgrowth in check and it helps my athlete's foot. I also haven't had an acne breakout since I started on it. Be well, Sharon > Wow, what a great post, Sharon. Surely you know what an inspiration > you have been and continue to be to all of us.
