Guest guest
Hi and everyone... I just wanted to say, even though I am only 14 days post-op and still have tummy numbness, tummy soreness, one incision leaking and back pain, I have more energy now than pre-op. yesterday I went to the Union Square outdoor greenmarket and walked around twice then walked from 17th street to 24nd street. I could have walked further but my boyfriend couldnt carry all the bags we accumulated anymore. LOL. I NEVER could or would have done this pre-op. My back and feet would have been killing me. I would have been so out of breath. I gained a lot of weight in the last year and went from obese to MO. This made my world real small. I am so happy to be back! I can't wait until I'm in your shoes I want to walk with my dogs without feeling tired and to actually enjoy it without worrying that my legs are going to hurt, etc. Anita Pre-pre-op in Denver > Hi and everyone... > > I just wanted to say, even though I am only 14 days > post-op and still have tummy numbness, tummy soreness, > one incision leaking and back pain, I have more energy > now than pre-op. yesterday I went to the Union Square > outdoor greenmarket and walked around twice then > walked from 17th street to 24nd street. > Jill K in NY > 14 days post op > -22 lbs > > __________________________________________________ >

I was on a strange natural high for the first three weeks post-op! LOL I still have lots of energy, but go through cycles of being exhausted. A long naps clears it up within a day. I think it's because I do so much now. I wasn't winded before surgery but I just didn't have any energy to get up and out for long periods of time on a daily basis. I find that I have a lot more 'on' days and require a 'down/off' day maybe once or twice a week at most! It's great to be active as a RULe! all the best, teresa
