Guest guest
Thanks for that I didn't know it was cooked either. There are only 7 veggies in there if you don't count the hot pepper, think something is missing? Actually wouldn't that make it a vegetable broth? Phyllis CD V8 juice recipe anyone? I think my cookie baking days are over, the fig drop cookies came out like lace cookies, which I love when they're crispy, these were soggy but tasty. The fig filling came out too runny to make fig newtons so maybe I'll make some V8 juice, I know about the tomatoes and celery, but what are the other 6 veggies? Anyone know? I've got a never used juicer just waiting for me to come up with some good veggie juice recipes.

Guest guest
Thanks Phyllis, I found the ingredients but I don't know the amounts, V8 is different from the recipes you found. I don't know where I'm going to find watercress, I don't think it exists here. I guess I'll experiment!! The original V8 is made mainly from tomatoes and the juices from seven additional vegetables, specifically: beets, celery, carrots, lettuce, parsley, watercress, and spinach.[ Ann, Living in Italy Undiagnosed Crohn's since 1977 Diagnosed 15 years Sacroiliitis 25 years Rheumatoid arthritis 25 years Pyoderma Gangronosum 2 years SCD since July, 2008 Meds: None To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Sunday, August 23, 2009 12:16:34 AMSubject: Re: V8 juice recipe anyone? Guest guest
Here's a raw recipe: http://www.recipesecrets.net/blog/recipes/copycat-v8-juice/#comment-52116 On a search I found recipes with very diverse ingredients. I also found both cooked and raw recipes. Actually, I wouldn't know where to start! I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. Phyllis V8 juice recipe anyone?
