Guest guest Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 I successfully made duck jerky this morning in my Nesco dehydrator. I did not expect it to dry so fast and to taste so good. The advantage to homemade jerkies for those who need enzymes in all their food is that you avoid the unhealthy preservatives and control the conditions under which it is produced and stored. Just to be on the safe side, I will keep it in the freezer until I use it all. I sliced it thin so it will defrost fast. Ann Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
