This really is a compassionate and caring network of special people. One of the special things that puts me in awe is that we are normally a group of people who would have otherwise never have met. The heart and soul of this matrix is that we have become fond of one another, not because of material ownership or physical characteristics, but from people sharing openly and honestly their experience, strength, and hope of their own stories. Words spoken from the heart. The success for which could never have brought the PAI to where it is today, had it not been for the warm welcome and open arms of one person with Pancreatitis embracing another person with Pancreatitis. This is where strangers become friends, and friends become family. Together, bonded by tragedy, united by triumph. Many people, many faces, one voice. I might add this was while he was spending the night at a friends.......................... I told him i was going to get a shirt made up saying " I am the origional Jack Ass" ( he is a fan of the jackass stuff on mtv) it made him laugh anyways........................... later today i am off to my campout at the infineon raceway in sonoma to cheer our driver Jeff Gordon, GO # 24, however he isnt having all that great a year this year, but he often does well at the track in Sonoma.............yesterday i went and treated myself to a manicure and pedicure with the Jeff Gordon Colors and the number 24 written in yellow. It was kind of funny in away, the nail salon i go to alot of the women english is a second language and they know the fourth of july is coming up and since i had red and blue they kept bringing out the white and when is said 24 they just wanted to put 4 for the fourth of July, but all turned out well in the end. Hope everyone has a great end of the week and an even better weekend colleenRobynn VanPatten wrote: OK...that made me laugh out loud.
