Guest guest
This is a very good idea for emergencies. My doctor provides us with a card that you can present in restaurants so you can get a child's plate without any fuss. All helpful ideas! Mickyco-owner KoalityKare "Quality childcare isn't expensive. It's priceless."http://www.homestead.com/koalitykare/KoalityKare.html wallet card to carry I have heard so many comments about medic alert bracelets (who actually wears those ugly things everywhere they go). Someone was kind enough to post awhile back a business card she made that all we had to do was edit our name and information in. Well, I tried and tried and it just would not print out correctly. You had to make it huge to read anything on it and it just would not work with my software. So, my dh bought some plain business cards at Office Max and I used a business card program that cost me $5 (on sale) called Expert Software. I borrowed a design of the DS from Dr 's website and created my own business card to carry in my wallet (my dh has one also). If you are receiving this at home and can not see the picture of this card you can see it on-line. It was easy to create and I feel secure now. Bob took 2 down to Office Max and had them laminated. Someone was kind enough to post awhile back a business card she made that all we had to do was edit our name and information in.... nancy, the business card is a cool idea. i would have only one concern: they might not check your wallet. i heard someone say a while back that in some places it is illegal to look in someone's wallet even in an emergency, so that would put one back to square one. i have looked at medicalert.com and the bracelets and necklaces are really not hideous, even the stainless steel one that comes with basic membership. and for a few dollars more (15) you can get it in silver, which doesn't even have the symbol painted in red, just embossed. check them out. and the coolest thing about joining medic alert is that they keep detailed medical information about you on record so that in case of an emergency their 24 hr number would be called and your complete medical information released. and membership is cheap, 35 for the first year and 20 for every year after that. that's really inexpensive for such a terrific service. i'm definitely going to join. erika 5'2 " , 281.5#, bmi 52 surgery date 7.30.01, or as soon as i'm called. dr. herron

Guest guest
Since you have the software....... maybe for a fee, you could make these for other DS patients? Guest guest
Hi , I really liked your business card!! Hey - do you still have access to the ORIGINAL software that was suggested to you? I'd like to give that one a try, too. At any rate, I'm keeping a copy of the one that you made in my filing cabinet. GREAT job!! Thanks!! Guest guest
Microsoft Word has templates to make business cards built-in. Go to "Tools" and then "Envelopes and Labels" - and under the "Labels" tab there are business-card templates that you can use. Re: wallet card to carry Hi , I really liked your business card!! Guest guest
, I tried to download the picture of your wallet card but all it would do was show me a picture of a " torn " piece of film. I'm no computer wiz so I have no idea what that means! Can you help me? Thanks, Angel > I have heard so many comments about medic alert bracelets (who actually wears those ugly things everywhere they go).
