Guest guest
Hey Jodi, Prior to starting SCD 's psoriasis covered his scalp went over his ears, down his forehead to halfway down his nose and along the back of his neck. At his last hair appointment our stylist was just shocked. She kept coming through his hair saying, " It's gone.. it's all gone! " over and over. I have to believe this is due to the diet. He's struggled with psoriasis forever and has never looked so good. Rhonda UC Son, 16, CD SCD 3 months Anyone here doing SCD for psoriasis? Guest guest
I didn't go on SCD for my psoriasis, although I do have it. I have had it for over 20 years, with periods of horrible flaring and periods where it's been not so bad. So far, it doesn't seem to be changed at all since starting SCD. It's really not bad right now, but often gets worse in the fall when the weather changes. I live near Seattle, where it was 88 or something yesterday, so we haven't gotten our fall weather yet. I think eggs might not be good for my psoriasis and we've been eating a lot of them, although it hasn't gotten worse... Sorry, long answer for short question. Guest guest
Rhonda, I know this is OT for this thread, but how is ? I haven't seen you post for a while and you were having to make some decisions about medications last time I saw one. Just wondering! (You were so helpful to me my first week here that I always look to see if you have posted.) Guest guest
Jodi, My husband has bad psoriasis and when he started to geet it into remission, that is when his crohns symptoms flared up, its as if it internalised itself. He has been on SCD for 11 months now, and has stopped trying to treat his psoriasis and now is feeling a lot better. His crohns is under control, he take 1 mg pred each day only and his last 4 bloods( done each month) have shown more signs of improvement. His psoriasis is relatively well under control also. He uses a Hemp based cream on any big spots. Jena Anyone here doing SCD for psoriasis?Jodi
