Common? e, You might be confusing BO with poop and flatus odor, which CAN be deadly. Not everybody has stinky poops all of the time, and there are some things that some folks find helpful in diminishing the odors, but these are bathroom odors and not body odors. --Steve -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Goldstein, age 61 Lap BPD/DS on May 2, 2001 Dr. Elariny, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Virginia Starting (05/02/01) BMI = 51 BMI on 05/17 = 46.

Guest guest
This question came up at a support group meeting with Dr K and Dr Rabkin was there too. They said if someone were to have a foul body odor or foul breath odor, it could possible mean some kind of bacterial infection(?). A dose of antibiotics would clear it up. I personally haven't heard of anyone with this problem. Of course, there is the gas and bm odors, but this is effected my particular foods etc. and is easily helped by a variety of different things, such as fans, matches, sprays ....it has been great hearing the different ideas of others on this list. I havent experienced it to be a problem in public, its very controlable. Just my two cents....~ post-op Dr K 2/6/01 Start wt 321 bmi 49 Now 258 bmi 40 63 lbs gone forever! No more diabetes...high blood pressure!!
