Thank you Mara. I did google it myself, of course, before coming to post here.

And I found that exact same link that you did. But I was unsure if that would

be the same because it says " Almonds, blanched " , which I was assuming meant

whole almonds. I would think that whole almonds would be a different measure

than almond flour. I read in a few different places people asking " how much

almond flour does a pound of almonds make? " And I found answers varying from

3.5 cups, to 4 cups, to 4.5 cups. Some of the answers were non-specific to

almond flour, they were just people reporting a general cups to pounds

conversion.

But this is still a different question than how many cups would a pound of

almond flour be. Since I don't have a scale, I thought I'd come and see if

anyone here had that knowledge. Maybe someone had made the cake before.

If there isn't anyone who knows, I think I will just experiment with 4 cups and

wish for the best! It's my child's birthday, so hopefully it will be a success!
