Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your input on protein shakes. I was able to just start stage 2 today and did ok with cream of wheat and cream of chicken soup. Tomorrow I am gonna try unsweetened applesauce with splenda and SF pudding, let's just hope that the pudding will agree with me. I think I will try the protein shakes a little down the line and maybe I will find one I like. I just had my surgery on Tuesday. Tammyspecialkmix2000 wrote: It is personal preference I suppose. I choose to follow the rules set forth by Richmond and get my protien in the foods I eat. I was never a fan of those shakes though to begin with, so it may be easier for me to dismiss it as an option?I added up the choices you have to eat during the day once you are at Stage III and IV and with it spaced out in those three meals, it sure seems adequate. Richmond facitilty strongly discourages use of the protien shakes, you are correct.Kay> >Hi all. Just a brief 7 week post-op update for you.
