Guest guest
is Chamomile tea legal? i'm pretty sure it is, but i just want to make sure (its loose and organic as well)LOL! Chamomile, cocoa butter...now all we need is young coconut water to make this week complete =)This is something that has been sort of a debate area. You would think it would be legal, but I think it and many other herbal teas have polysaccharides in them, so they're illegal. Also, as Marilyn will tell you, chamomile can have other effects on your bowels that you may not want while on this diet, which I can't exactly recall at this time. I'll see if I can find that post and re-post it.Meanwhile, I wouldn't drink it if I were you. Only black tea, green tea, ginger, and the mints are legal. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
oh... well that really realy sucks, cause i have a pound of loose chamomile flowers that i do not know what to do with now... no one in the house drank it except me, guess i will have to make the change to mint, cause i like black but if its strong, and green tea is a hassle to make... guess i make too many assumptions... i should sit down and come up with a huge list of questions i have and just have them all answered. Damn.. Chamomile, such a disappointment, and i am doing pretty good as it is, only 3 BM daily... argh, fury!! BTW thanks, could you possilbly point to whatever source says it is illegal? -Marcin > >is Chamomile tea legal? i'm pretty sure it is, > >but i just want to make sure (its loose and organic as well) > > No, it is not. BTVC says only black or green tea, ginger, and the mints. You can make a very nice chamomile oil which is very soothing on bumps, scrapes, etc. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Also, if you're blonde, you can use chamomile as a highlighting hair rinse.--
