Guest guest
Ah now your in my sandbox Evil chuckle!!!!! Sue's comparisons to WLS <<<<< >>>> <<<<< >>>>> Sue, Your analogies make me wonder if you are on the same planet as the rest of us. How does smoking, coke-sniffing, or super models compare with WLS. Insurance companies don't pay for coke-sniffing treatments, and doctors don't recommend for people to get addicted to coke to live a healthier life. Also anybody who smokes will eventually have health concerns, please keep on topic. Ok I have re-written you paragraph to make a better comparison. What you do to your body in your twenties you probably get away with, even in your thirties so it's deceptive that morbid obesity seems to be not very dangerous. We have morbid obese people dieting and starving and it doesn't hit them (this unhealthy lifestyle) until they are in their 40's and 50's and then, it hits them hard. > <<<<<< Like Liza Minelli, one year younger than I am. Had her THIRD joint replacement recently. Is in a wheelchair from osteoporosis. And gee, she was thin - no one notices that she's a whole lot SICKER than several fat people I know. Sandy Sabo, for example is in her 40's, and plenty large and she's still bouncing around, not in a wheelchair from osteoporosis like Liza Minnelli who was skinny most of her life (she's gotten fatter now that she cannot move).>>>>>> What are you saying here Sue, that thin people are not healthy and that fat people are? There is a whole world of thin healthy active eople out there. I see them everywhere. The whole truth is that the vast majority of thin people (who do not take drugs) are healthy. > <<<< >>>> We have been lied to Sue - by you! There is a difference from being fat and being morbidly obese and being morbidly obese is not a healthy way to live. > <<<< >>>> WHAT? Sue do you believe that we are not living here on earth, that we are all batteries for robots who have taken over the world? Maybe these robots have made us think were obese. This is some of the analogies and statement that Sue has made. But then she does not know what WLS is like. To those who are researching WLS, it is not like... Jumping from a building super models who smoke and sniff-coke the movie " The Matrix " being paralyzed illness introduced by surgery Gastric bypass is anything which bypasses the stomach with a pouch living with a faulty GI tract eating three bites at every meal experimental because not very many very large people have been 'done' Teri

Guest guest
As I said in an earlier message, the web does not discriminate against ill-informed narcissists. As moderator of this list, however, I do. The specific purpose of this list is to provide a place for our members to learn about the Duodenal Switch procedure, and to support each other through all facets of our WLS journey. Sue Widemark's messages contain none of that, and there is no place here for her manner of disruption. Sue, please take your rhetoric elsewhere. As of now, Sue Widemark is on moderated status. Messages from her will be approved only if they conform to the charter of the list. Thank you!
