Guest guest
Sherry- That is an amazing story. Personally I am glad you are losing but to not have gotten your surgeon. I would have a hard time paying for that and I would fight it. That is just me. I have aa 100cm and I am not unhappy about it because I believe that absorption is better with 100cm. I know that I am losing a little slower than some but I am losing. I think 60 pounds in 2 months is fabulous. I certainly could never have done that without surgery. You are on your way and try to be positive. I know that you will just do greta. Back to the Drs. That is very upsetiing. I wish you luck. Guest guest
Thanks very much, I appreciate the reply. I'm hoping to be able to lose all my excess weight with the 100cm common channel, but am not counting on it. Usually people who are as overweight as I am need the shorter common channel length to acheive the same results as those who are not quite as heavy starting out. Thanks for the good thoughts. -Sherry (Lake Marcel, WA) BPD/DS Feb. 2, 2001 self-pay 5'5 " / 359 pounds / 33 years old Lost 9 pounds in pre-op weight loss efforts Have lost 52 pounds since surgery!
