Guest guest
Sometimes I just put chicken breasts (with bone), onion, garlic, celery, different spices, and cover with water- in the crock pot. Cook all day or overnight (make sure the chicken is well cooked). Take out the onion, garlic and celery. Then you have chicken to eat, and lots of " soup " too. I don't do well with carrots, but you can put carrots in there and eat them too. PJ > > I want to start using the crock pot more. My allowed meats are > chicken, beef, turkey, and fish. Guest guest
Can you have cinnamon? I make yummy chicken with sliced or chopped apples, onions and cinnamon. Sounds weird, but it's really good. Just put the chicken on the bottom, chop up an apple or two, depending on how much chicken there is, drizzle with a bit of olive oil and sprinkle on some salt and cinnamon. Cook all day - it smells great and has a great taste. Liz > I want to start using the crock pot more. My allowed meats are > chicken, beef, turkey, and fish.
