Pam & , thanks for taking the time to answer ...

The last thing Dr. Baggs told me last week was don't forget you'll be

weighed before surgery...so I'm quite prepared for it! At orientation

they also told us tht if we're even 1/2lb over goal weight, we'll be

sent home so I always make sure I'm below goal weight before I go to

anything official..

My experience is that at meetings and classes they have the scale

available but never officially weigh you.

Dr. Baggs took me off all my extraneous vitamins (vit E, fish oil, baby

aspirins etc.) So...now all I take is a multi-vitamin but it is a big

old thing from Costco, I can't see how I can take that

later...especially right after surgery because it takes a big gulp of

water to go down...

Do they give us specific vitamins to get?

Is jerky a food for before or after?

Thanks again,

Maggie

Yes, Bariatric Advantage and they will give you the

paper and tell you the amount, etc. When you go to

the post op, that weigh in counts. Ask Robynn what

happened to her when she went for hers. They threaten

to cancel hers because she was up a bit. But I know

you have that under wraps so no more talk about the

wieght thing. I am so happy for you. So when is your

surgery?
