Guest guest
Hi all.... I just got done going to the web site that was The Things To Think About When Considering WLS. And.....I was wanting to hear from ;you post-ops and see if this stuff is true, I am planning on asking a surgeon before I make my final decison, but....it seems to me that the things that are mentioned and most of the complications with malnutrition and such is not mentioned with the DS. Would I be correct in saying that? How often are bowel obstructions a prob. I haven't read anyplace of these things being problems for the DS. patients, along with bacteria in the intestines, arthritis or lupus, peripheral neuropathy, WHAT DO ANY OF YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ALL OF THIS???? I would really like to hear some positive things now after reading that shit. I know there are risks, but wow! If a DS. post-op is taking their supplements on a regular basis as should, are they still at a higher risk for these things to occur compared to an average NON-WLS person??? Please post-op's come to the rescue!!! LOL in Pa.
