I had an open rny in San Diego at Scripps and I did not have any external

staples either. My doc used steri tapes across my incision. Worked great.

Scar looks good.

Lap Incision Closures

Maybe they're using some kind of bionic band-aids these days, to

keep the lap incisions closed (or old fashioned sutures) but back on

my rebirthday (07/30/03) they used staples.
