Guest guest
First, I want to thank God. Second, I am thankful for all of the tireless work of Elaine Gottschall. Third, thanks to Marilyn for all that she does to monitor this group. My son has been on Remicade for 18 months. Never could get the sed rate normal. Liver enzymes were slightly elevated. After starting the SCD, liver enzmes were normalized. Today, he had labs. For the first time since he was diagnosed at age 6, his sed rate is normal - 7!! Last time it was 23. Liver enzymes were back up (previously down since starting SCD). I think it might have been the Claritin or Zyrtec he was taking messing witg the liver? I have seen reports of both Claritin and Zyrtec causing liver enzyme elevations: do a search on " Claritin, Zytec, liver enzymes " . Otherwise, woo-hoo -- that is wonderful about the sed rate! And that the enzymes normalized on SCD!
