Guest guest Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 I think Fremont was the same way, I remember Doctor Dutta mentioning, at my orientation in July of '04, that they just mostly did opens. Then they started doing laps, so I think that all the Kaisers began to see the wisdom of doing them that way. Now the only time they do open, I think, is when the laparoscopic can't be done due too much abdominal scarring, or for some other reason.
