Guest guest
> I just got done going to the web site that was The Things To Think > About When Considering WLS. Here's " something to think about " : the web doesn't discriminate against ill-informed narcissists. It's up to us to weed through the junk. And this is utter junk. This woman gets off on self- glorification, and threads like this feed into it. But to ease your mind, I'll address your question and hope this topic dies a quick death! , this woman isn't worth your brain cells. Honestly. She will never acknowledge a single positive thing about WLS. Her attitude is just like any other ignoramous who thinks they know what's best for us, except to a ridiculous extreme. She says that if we'd just " get off our duffs " and exercise for 60-90 minutes a day EVERY DAY, FOREVER, all our problems would be solved. Hey, why didn't we think of that? Hey --- why didn't 97% of " will power " failures think of that? What dummies we are. All of her dire warnings are based on incomplete, poorly-researched, poorly-analyzed information. She loves using scare tactics and worst- case scenarios of very rare, impossible, or improbable outcomes. Everything she cautions about is either inapplicable to us, or preventable with proper aftercare and compliance with doctor's orders and adherance to our daily vitamin regimen and ongoing aftercare. Hope this helps.
