New evidence shows it takes up to 48 hours for your body to absorb the vitamin D generated by UVB exposure. When we wash with soap, we wash away the D3 that hasn't been absorbed. Not too many people wait 2 days before bathing...Woah! I had no idea. What about washing with honey or something? I heard that too - thought it was 24 hours though, and must stay in sun till a

little pink
