Guest guest
I think it's fine to post about events and problems in our lives when they relate to our food Path. I also think our spiritual/religious practices, whatever they may be, are extremely important and shouldn't be withheld. My post yesterday elicited apologies from some wonderful folks who really don't need to apologize for anything. Isn't that always the way? As women, esp. fat women, we've spent our lives feeling guilty for opening our mouths, for taking up space, for existing. Some of us take on the role of trying to make things right. The most humble of us are always the first to apologize. The people I'm talking about aren't saying anything and I don't expect them to. But whatever side of the abuse equation they're on, they Know what I'm saying. You Know if you feel uneasy when you run into someone at a meeting. You Know if you feel dread when you see that person's email address on the list. And you Know very well if you're getting your jollies from manipulating/hurting someone else. That is some VERY fat karma. Love Martha
