I took it with colazal - and that's compatible, but Sulfasalazine and colazal are just forms of the same drug, and Elaine believed thatsulfasalazine was the most effective - and my experience, in retrospect, bears that up - (though I can't be sure other thingswere not effecting me at that point - so it is a personal experience, but not definitive.) Also I never experienced nausea from either one - I think if you are experiencing nausea from them, you should alert your physicianimmediately about that and get off of it. I can't imagine that is healthy to continue. What about taking rowasa enemas, which bypass the gut andgo right through the rectum to the colon. For example. MaraIs anyone taking LDN and sulfasalazine at the same time for UC? Are those compatible, or would colazal be betteI seem to be having way too much nausea and vomiting from the sulfa, is colazal less nauseaous? Unfortunately I am flaring with my UC and having major trouble keeping food down, much less digesting, so am losing weight. I know on SCD Gottschall said that azulfidine and colazal are far better options than the Asacol/Lialda mix, is the LDN interfering with the sulfa or vice versa? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Cathleen
