Guest guest
Well that's sure nice to know! I can cut the actual water I drink about in half. I much prefer sipping on the lemonade. I love water, but sometimes in an empty stomach (like when I wake up in the morning) it makes me nauseaous and that's before surgery! Been that way for years, so I usually take a sip of lemonade before I drink my morning water. BTW, surgery is one month from today!Robynn VanPatten wrote: You can count that as water. Crystal light, all of that stuff (herbal tea, popsicles) count as water intake.Robynnchris lopez wrote: Hi Robyn, So glad to hear you're doing well. One question I have--I found some sugar free, calorie free lemonade (I LOVE lemonade). Couese it's artifically flavored so I don't think too much citric acid. My question is, I keep a bottle around just to fake out my sugar taste buds or when I get a little hungry and water doesn't quite do it for me. Will I be able to count that as water both now and post op? I've not been counting it and have been drinking about 32 ozs on top of my daily water requirement. Thanks.Robynn VanPatten wrote: I'm feeling fine in that way (no sore muscles)...but I seem to have a throat thing now. My voice is deep, like the beginning of laryngitis, and it hurts. I start work on Wednesday or Thursday, so OF COURSE, I'd start getting sick. Congratulations on the change in your size. My jeans are pretty baggy already, particularly in the legs. It's weird, my stomach has gone down a lot...in fact, it was nearly gone (although it's kind of puffy this a.m.), but my pants aren't that much more loose in the waistband. I don't get it. I think I'm just losing all over. I haven't taken measurements, I should do that before to long. I think I may have some measurements at my top weight (orientation weight). Well, I'm ok with the food as it is now. I don't need to advance any faster. The only thing I miss is salad, or raw veggies. But, I'm ok with what we have to eat now! Congrats again!!Robynn Tina wrote: Yeah, that's what I originally thought too. Your 6 week appointment is a group appointment (unless you requested otherwise) and then at 12 weeks you see the surgeon again. I already have my 12 week appointment set up for August 19th. That's when I'll be released to the final stage. As far as I can tell from the new binder sections that I printed out from Richmond's website, there is a lot more listed for Stage III and Stage IV just tells you what to avoid. I think at that time you can eat steak. My 6 week is next week on the 7th. I bought 2 pairs of shorts last weekend at Macy's. One was a size 22 and one was a size 20. I couldn't even zip the size 20's. Well, this morning I thought...what the heck...let's try those babies on. They fit! 1 week and 1 size smaller. Wow! Now I need to go buy a pair of shorts in an 18 and a 16. Hubby wasn't too mad even though I didn't buy cheap shorts (Tommy Hilfiger). Oh well. Someone will get some good use out of them and look stylish too! :)How are you feeling? You did a LOT of walking.Tina> > > > Hi All,> > > > I have been lurking for quite some time now.
