Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, I don't know if this might be helpful for your area: the doctor who started helping me deal with the GI yeast, adrenal and other issues is a family medicine MD who is also a DAN doctor. He still maintains his Primary practice, actually works for a local hospital, and then consults to do the holisitic, out of the box stuff with patients like me. And, he takes all kinds of insurance. Were it not for the DAN network, I never would have found him for myself. Any chance there's a DAN MD in your neck of the woods who might be helfpul for you ? Guest guest
Quick question - that's the acronym I meant to ask about (but forgot, obviously) - what does DAN stand for? Guest guest
On this link, http://www.autismwebsite.com/practitioners/us_lc.htm in my location, I see a few types. How do I know which is a GI? (and probably in NY they won't accept insurance).
