Guest guest
I was diagnosed last October with Crohn's. Learned of SCD and started in mid January. Have been and continue to be sold on it but I have now visited some major symptoms. The worst one ( obviously in addition to D) just grabbed me so bad I could not walk. Arthritis. Major pain in the ankles. I have the most exceptional doctor, Merigian and Monday I will start a series that uses the Pleo Forte and Pleo Pef pills. For the last three days I have been on the very Basic SCD because of an increase in D. Pleo pills are to heal on the inside and then I will be looking to research by Dr. Ken Waites at UAB for assistance with some special antibiotic therapy. I am trying to stay away from REMICADE/HUMIRA so I can stay as healthy as possible. But I am tired and the finances are weak. All the alternatives are frowned on by insurance. My question: Are there many folks on Remicade/Humira that have good reports about the SCD speeding them to better health and ending their connection to these strong drugs. Guest guest
Hi , You can get the Pleo pills in liquid form. That is what I use. No illegals. I was on Remicade for close to 4 years until I developed a sudden allergy and it didn't work for me anymore. " Working " is like a relative term meaning it kept me out of the danger zone with the Crohn's but never experienced remission. Also, have you looked into Low Dose Naltrexone? It is super cheap and works wonderfully with the SCD. Jodi
