Robynn that would be great to have you as part of our team I can send you the website so you can join our team... My daughter who is 13 is very excited to get more walkers and would also like to thank you for joining. Thanks I had a grandmother and a Aunt who both had it and it was very difficult to deal with them and very sad to watch them as they progressed with the disease. Thanks again and welcome you can start getting pledges as early as you would like the walk is 10/1 there is a 1 and a 3 mile walk you can do either walk you decide the day of the walk.

My grandmother has Alzheimer's...it didn't really manifest until a year or two ago (she's 96). I'd be interested. Keep me informed, ok?

Rose, I am sorry that I won't be here for this either. My mil has Alzheimer's, and until just a few months ago my husband was one of her caregivers. We know the shattering affect of that disease, and would love to see it stamped out. Unfortunately we can't contribute this year either, since neither of us is working at the moment and thus the sojourn in Arkansas, but keep us in mind for other years. My mother had Alzheimer's for 10 years. She passed away on 12/28/04 (the same day as my surgeon consult). I will look at my calendar and see if I can possibly do this walk.
