I am having a bit of trouble with insurance and hope to get it ironed out soon. Are you from Ohio? I'm from central Ohio, Newark to be exact (about 1 hour east of Columbus). How did you find Dr. Hess? Are you going to the informational meeting April 9th? I look forward to hearing more about DS and talking to some other people who have had the surgery. I met with the DS Ohio group March 30th and they were so nice and really informative, not to mention a fun group. I hope we get to meet if you go to the April 9th meeting. Guest guest Posted April 7, 2001 Report Share Posted April 7, 2001 Welcome! I had surgery with Dr. Hess April 27, 00. I really like Dr. Hess. I think he is very experienced with this procedure and with developments post op. His office staff can be short at times, but if you stick with them they soften up. When I have an appointment, I have a list of questions and items to talk about. Dr. Hess always takes the time to answer all of my questions if I am prepared.
