I work from 8:30 to 4:30pm I am up at 6:30am If you had this schedule

what would the times of your three meals a day be?

Also do you think bike riding is good excercise? I rented a bike the

other day and rode all along west clif in santa cruz,I have not been

on a bike in years and since I live one block from west clif I walked

over to the bike rental place a rented a bike. It was so nice riding

along the clifs of the beach. Im thinking of buying two bikes for me

and .

My schedule is very similar to yours. I work from 10 to 6 but Im up at

6 everyday.

I do my exercise as soon as I wake up...either a run/walk or doing

weights. Then I take my shower and get ready for work. I eat

breakfast at 8 AM Lunch with the kids at work around 12, a snack

around 3, and then dinner at 630. But Im having a hard time with carb

cravings and Im thinking of doing a protein fast that someone

recommended on another site...but since Dr Fisher and Dr Baggs are so

anti protein shakes, Im a little skeptical. I see Beth the nutrionist

tomorrow morning so I will see what I will do after seeing her.

I think bycycling is a great form of exercise...better than a

stationary because you can get out and see the sites. I mean

stationary is great if thats what works for you...but Im finding that

even the treadmill is getting some what boring for me...I like being

outdoors now. I still use the treadmill when I just dont feel like

doing 5 miles uphill and on bad weather days but Im finding I want to

be outside more now. Now Im not downing treadmills and stationary

bikes so please no one get offended. Exercise is exercise...Im just

telling you what Im finding " I " need right now!!!!!

Another thing I have enjoyed a few times, is riding tandem with

someone. Of course in order to do that you have to have a tandem and a

willing partner, and I don't have either. I think you're right about the

elliptical, you do get a better workout! I really love mine and think it's

one of the best bunches of money that we've spent, I will miss it when I'm

away. I just hope that the gym, where I'm going, will have good

equipment. I suspect they'll at least have a stationary bike, most usually

do. I'm taking a cd player, that is capable of playing mp3's, so that I

can have music while I work out. LaWanda At 09:17 PM 6/19/05, you wrote:
