I got my presription and need the phone # or address to send it in the Cystic Fibrosis. I would appreciate anyones help. I don't have a fax so I will probably have to mail it. I registered on the phone and they gave me the fax number for Ivonne (Dr. Gagner's nurse) to send the prescription to. Alternately, their address IS: Cystis Fibrosis Foundation Pharmacy Services, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor, Bethesda, land 20814. It might help to call (you may have to leave a message initially since they don't seem to have live operators) to get a person's name as a contact to check up on the script arrival, etc? I think last time I called they said they have a website, too where you can re-order (the initial order must be placed the 'old fashioned way', I guess). You can always have the Mt. Sinai office fax the script over, too! All the best, laparoscopic BPD/DS with gallbladder removal Dr. Gagner, Dr. Quinn assisting/Mt. Guest guest
, thanks for the info on CF--basically, though, my questions is why we as bpd/ds'ers would send our ADEK perscription to CF--that has now been explained to me. Just as with CF patients it is the malabsorption that causes the need for these vitamins & by sending it to CF we can take advantage of a discount thru Scandiapharm..from what i understand now, it cuts the price in about half. Thanks again. take good care ogretta pre-op & ready may 11, 2001 12noon dr inabnet -- In duodenalswitch@y..., " Montgomery " wrote: > In Cystic Fibrosis (CF) clogging of pancreatic ducts leads to an enzyme > deficiency in the intestines.
