Guest guest
Does anyone understand why this happens withS. boulardi?Maybe since it's a yeast and not a bacteria, it acts differently. Like, maybe our SCD bacteria starvation isn't as effective on yeast so more stays alive? Guest guest
Maybe this is a stupid question but, why are folks taking Saccharomyces Boulardii? Is it in addition to Lactobacillus Acidophilus or instead of it? On the GI Pro Health website it says " A common supplement regimen lasts 3 to 4 weeks or for up to two weeks after diarrhea has resolved " so are you only taking it for a couple weeks, until you're better or are you taking it more long term? I'm just curious. Also, what's " DH? " I've been thinking it's " dear husband but I wasn't sure so I figured I would ask. Stacey > > No one in my house has ever gotten any die off from it. Guest guest
Maybe this is a stupid question but, why are folks taking Saccharomyces Boulardii? Is it in addition to Lactobacillus Acidophilus or instead of it? Usually in addition. The boulardii is a yeast instead of a bacteria for one thing, and many people have had good results with using it.On the GI Pro Health website it says "A common supplement regimen lasts 3 to 4 weeks or for up to two weeks after diarrhea has resolved" so are you only taking it for a couple weeks, until you're better or are you taking it more long term? I'm just curious. I think it's different for everyone. Also, what's "DH?" I've been thinking it's "dear husband but I wasn't sure so I figured I would ask.I was curious about this too. I looked online though and it said dear husband, so I'm guessing that's right. Guest guest
Alyssa.. Not everyone experiences feeling bad.. If you continue taking it either skip today or just take a smaller dosage. Slow and steady.. don't force your body. Jodi

I just wanted to clarify so that I can figure out whether or not it's something I should consider taking. People with normal guts often use it that way. People with IBS/IBD have found s. boulardii helpful in keeping things on an even keel while they work on healing. It's also useful if, for some reason, you need an oral antibiotic.
