Guest guest
Hi all. I finally made it back to the gym today. I walked slowly on the treadmill for 30 minutes and that was about enough! I was measured for the first time since the surgery. I was measured at the gym the day before I went into the hospital. In 3 weeks I've lost 2 1/4" in my chest, 3 1/4" in my waist, 10" in my abdomen! ( I can really tell this!) 2 1/4" in my hips, 1" in my rt thigh and 1 3/4" in my rt calf! I will weigh myself again Friday when I see Dr. Hess again. On the minus side, out of pure habit I lifted my 3 1/2 year old daughter onto the toilet while there. I didn't even think about what I was doing until it was done and then I sure felt like a dumb ass! There probably aren't many post ops with small children who haven't done the same thing though. Its just reaction when those babies need you! I will definetly be more careful though. So, while the work out was good, I'm ready for a nap and I will make sure I make it back to the gym again tomorrow!
