to the ladies post~op out there

I am just full of q's today!!!

It just 'hit' me (literally!!) what did the ladies wear home from the

hospital?? I know after my open ankle surgery (which was also closed with

staples) the staples were *finally* removed 2 1/2 weeks post op then I was

in a 1/2 leg cast (to my knee) for 2 1/2 more weeks. I could not get a pair

of knee socks on due to it bothered my incision sooooo much...I guess my q

is..were you able to wear you underwear home...I know it may sound sick, but

my underwear is like a Master Card...I NEVER leave home without it... Did it

bother the incision or did the binder keep the elastic from " digging " into

the the incision?? ODD, I know, but with the poss of TOM after surgery they

are a nessesity..I am not trying to be graphic in any way, and sorry to the

guys, but this is a q that has been bothering me. Yes, I need to get a

life...It will happen soooooon I hoooooope!!!
