What WONDERFUL news!!! Twenty months is a long time! It is so great on the

other side!

If you were to ask for my opinion of the one most important thing you could

do as a pre-op (don't you love when people give advise that you didn't ask

for? :)) it would be this: Think positively! You are being given a gift

that many others have been denied. A few weeks of discomfort will change

your life forever! I am only two months post-op so I am new enough to it to

remember the " early on " stuff and I would do it again in a second. In two

short months I have lost 43.5 pounds. It is amazing how much easier it is to

get around without that to drag around.

Congratulations!!!!

Don't you just hate that dammed Evil insurance. You gave that company

as good as you got and more. The fact that you took them on is

amazing. Meli I am so proud of you, after all I washed my hands of

the mess when I hired Walter.

As everyone can tell we have the same insurance company, I was the

first DS approval the company did and Meli is the second. Both

approvals were hard mean battles but oh so good to win.

Ahhhh. June 21 - The first day of summer What a wonderful way to start

the summer. Remember once you have this surgery nobody can take it

away from you.

Put your information on the database so when another CP victum comes

along we can get behind them.

This is so fabulous, Meli. So clever of you to choose the summer solstice,

the longest day of the year.
