You will lose your weight that is the blessing of this surgery and the great surgeons that perform it.

Ten years before I found the DS I was looking into the RnY and almost as important as me not being willing to suffer the aftereffects of such a procedure was the attude of the surgeons doing the RnY that I saw. Now I am not saying that all RnY surgeons are uncaring but the six I actually saw were off handed and short with me when i was asking questions like I was foolish to be asking such questions and I should just trust that they knew what was good for me, well I was my own best avocat long before it became popular and I have ticked off many a doctor by having the balls to actually know what was wrong with me and what I needed to have done.

The DS surgeons as a group seem to be so much more caring and willing to listen, they seem to not only understand that we are not to blame for this massive amount of weight we lug around but they are willing to tell us that we are not to blame.

My surgeon Dr. Anthone is one of the busiest DS surgeons I know and only has clinic to see new patients and follow up care on Mondays and yet he has never rushed me and I have never felt that I was being hurried he sits and asks and answers any questions I might have.

My stats are in my signature line but I started out at 384 and I am now 160-165 so I have lost 224 pounds at 18 months and now at 2 years 3months I am still at the same weight.

You will lose this weight! You will run, dance, walk and enjoy life and do whatever you want!
