They initially had s- boulardii on the shelf at my Vitamin SHoppe, too. I spoke to the manager, and he now keeps it in their refrigerator. I can tell you that even off the shelf, it caused an amazing die-off for me. Amazing because at the point I started it, I'd been SCD for several years! — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
They keep it on the shelf here too, normally they have to order it for the next day because they don't want to keep it on hand for long. The bottles I usually get are dated 2 years in advance but the last bottle I bought from a different pharmacy they had on hand and it expires 12/09 but when opening it I could tell it had already gone off by the smell and taste. So I guess it keeps on the shelf, but not for long. I'm taking it back on Monday and won't make that mistake again. It really does need the fridge, but what can you do?
