being a good idea to use even 1 clove to make tea. How should I

substitute? Just add a tiny bit of clove powder?

I don't have the cook book handy -- how much tea is being made? Remember

that cloves as an ingredient are OK. It's just not OK to make straight

clove tea.

I believe that was a type setting error. It should be baking soda.

The recipe says to bring the ginger, water, cloves (4 of them), cardamom, and

cinnamon to a boil, and then to reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 10

minutes. Then add the lime juice and honey, and simmer for another 2 or 3

minutes. Strain and serve. Makes 2 cups.

I think I'd be inclined to dilute this at the beginning of the

diet.....
