Guest guest
Hi all - Just got off the phone from talking to Sharon for a real long time. She is doing SO much better! She assures me she will be okay. What a miracle!!!!! She has a long road of rehab ahead of her -- but she'll make it -- what a strong lady -- what a will. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for her. She wanted me to tell everyone thank you and that she loves you. She has a blood clot in each leg, so they are trying to get those thinned out with coumadin. A couple weeks ago her arm was so numb that she couldn't even lift it. Now she is able to use it and can even write. She took a step today! And, they've had her sitting up. They brought her dog into see her and it was such a joy for both of them. And, everyone in the hospital just loved the dog. It was so great to hear her in good spirits. She has her voice back and it sounds almost as strong as it did pre-op. She's gonna be okay! She's gonna be okay!!! Wooooooooooo! Hoooooooooo! I told her I would print off all the e-mails I've saved since February and mail them to her. If you want to send any more, please do and I'll include them in the packet. Thanks, too, for your continued thoughts and prayers for a full and complete recovery for her. Guest guest
Kris, That's WONDERFUL!!! She must have loved seeing her dog and getting reminded of the positive things waiting for her at home. She's definitely miraculous, given everything she's gone through!! Not to mention she took a step, that's great!! I will be swinging chickens for her still and sending positive vibes for her to continue on the road to recovery.
