Guest guest
Hi: My name is PamS....not to be confused with the other Pam.... I have finally received my Orientation Date - August 2... I am very anxious to get this process started. My highest weight 364lbs and I am 5'10 " Residence - Alameda Involved in the Richmond Program I have diabetes 2 (meds only) and of course hypertension and the other things that go along with weight....degeneration of my knee and hip joints. It is wonderful to hear from people that are going or who have gone through the same program I will be going through. I joined the support group in Oakland this month and have heard that Richmond is very very strict....But maybe that will be good for me. Glad to be a part of this group and looking forward to a healthier happier life..... Guest guest
It might be useful if we could put our " introduction " information on our Yahoo profile page. However that might not be the best thing for people who use other forums than WLS surgery support. However, here's my rundown: My name is Sandi H. (5 ft 1 inch tall and 50 years old) I live in Citrus Heights (Sacramento County) Surgery done by Dr. Leo – San Diego (Thru Kaiser) I weighed 315 at orientation (May '03) 285 at 3 pre-op appointments in San Diego (August 4, 2003) 252 at surgery (6/03/04) Last weighed at 177.5 (06/18/2005) Hopefully someday below 140 However, I've lost a total of 137.5 pounds! But, when I get between 150 and 140, I'll start shopping around for PS to get rid of my huge tummy apron, tighten the tummy & get a booby lift. > Hi everyone...there are alot of new members....so we should do a > little round of brief intros. > > Here is Mine. > > Name: aka " Huggles " > Area: Bay Point > Kaiser: Richmond...Dr Fisher > Highest Weight: 315 > After 10%: 283 > Open RNY: Aug 19,2003 > Reconstructive Surgery:Sept 1, 2004 > Current Weight: 159(sigh regained 9 pounds) > Goal Weight: 135 > > Biggest Demon: snacking and starbucks! Guest guest
Sandi, I totally agree!! I think anyone who has a yahoo profile should fill it out. It would be so nice to click on a yahoo ID and see a picture and some information. Its very easy to do. I know some groups won't even have members who don't fill out there profiles. I would not do that ofcourse ,but it would be really really nice if people did. My profile has tons of information.
