Guest guest
Hi All! Thanks for all your encouragement leading up to surgery. I want to make a brief appearance to say..I FEEL MAAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRVEEELLLOOUUS! I have been very fortunate, 2 hrs 20 mins in surgery with Dr. Gagner (20 minutes addressed adhesions from a very old appendectomy). I have soreness, I haven't suffered, I have not gone through awful pain or anything I thought it might be like. At first, I felt as if I had done too many sit-ups. ****** I walked for about 1/2 hour this afternoon, seven city blocks; earlier in the day, I walked one long city block to a neighborhood diner to feed my care-giving parents breakfast, I ate one entire poached egg (over the course of about an hour) then we walked back to the apartment. I feel very well. I am recovering very well, I say this with all gratitude and humility and wish this for everyone who undergoes this surgery. I am very careful about food, very small amounts constitute a meal, perhaps, two tablespoons and I am satisfied. I do drink my 4 oz per hour per my nutritionist. Any specific questions, send them my way. LennyB SWITCHED Apr2 Drs.
