Guest guest
To you ladies out there-- When I joined Curves almost 2 years ago (the Citrus Heights location) they gave me a discount on my sign-up or start up fee. They offered the discount on that fee either for being a Kaiser member or a State employee (not both -- LOL). You just need to call your local Curves, and I'm sure they will tell you if they still give a discount. --Sandi (who no longer goes to Curves, because, after loosing 130 pounds, they didn't give me enough of a workout, so I now go to 24 Hour Fitness. But Curves is a great place to start your workout routine!) I've now lost at total of 140 pounds, 77 pounds since my surgery on 06/03/04 in San Diego. > > In a message dated 6/22/2005 2:11:27 P.M. I won't go into what a huge move that was for me, given my body issues. I don't know if it's universal, but my location (Pinole) gives a 60% discount to Kaiser members! The regular price is a $99 one-time membership fee (which includes two free months) then $39/mo. For Kaiser members, the membership fee is only $40 (no free months though) and $29/mo. > If any of you guys are near Pinole (Gordy!) and would like to check it out, give me a ring or email off-list. > > Uncle Timmy -236 > > > > Does anyone know if Curves does this for Kaiser members as well? > Thanks, > Kim
Guest guest
Sandi, the one here in my neighborhood in Fairfield gives you the discount to but it is off the membership (start up fee)if you are a Kaiser member or Kaiser employee. The unfortunate part about this is, not all of them do unless something has changed since April 2005. Also, if you don't ask, they are not going to offer it to you which I think is not right. I agree with you about the workout after a certain point because I to do not go to curves anymore. I too need something more. Congrats on your successful journey Sandi. Pam Marsh --- " Sandi H.
