Guest guest
Ah man - I thought sashimi was good in protein - I will have to do some more reading up on different things to try then! Thanks! Plus, regular sushi has a lot of rice, that means lots of carbs. I did try some sushi about 6 months after surgery, and it went down OK for me, however I have tried the kind without rice (I think the sashimi is the kind without the rice) and it tasts great and goes down nicely. However, remember, I'm over a year post-op.I did eat the stuff with some added protein, though.Bottom line, IMHO, sushi, in limited quantities, and watching to avoid too much rice, shouldn't hurt. However, you do still remember to have mostly protein in your meals.--Sandi> Can anyone tell me if there is anything wrong with eating sushi (well> probably sashimi) post op?> > Thanks!> LTLJSMOM>
