Hmmmmmm.....just feeling a little sad as I read the

posts tonight.....we have to deal with some serious

issues here on the list....I am wondering if there is

an easy way to allow people to share and support them

and make sure we do not ban important good and bad

surgical outcomes....I mean.....it is clear that many

people have clearly experienced very good surgical

outcomes... and they respect and appreciate what Dr.

Ren has accomplished with her skills ...for them. It

is also very clear to me that Deb is in a lot of pain

and did not experience very good surgical

outcomes.....and that she has her own feelings about

that based on the facts she believes to be true ( and

it is clear she has more knowledge about medical

issues than the majority of us)...regardless...I guess

what I am trying to say is that both situations can

be valid.

There are good results...there are bad results...and

we read the information and make our own best

judgements on the matter. I know it would be very

hard for me if someone had a bad experience with my

doctor and but they would be entitle to their own

opinion...and as WE ALL WERE NOT THERE and DO KNOW THE

FACTS AROUND Their reality...I would just hope we

could support and acknowledge and just report our

realities without judgement....or personalizing

things. I am happy for the positive results people

have achieved. My heart aches for Deb and the pain

she is feeling.... JJ

Janice:

Well put! We need not " shoot the messenger " when one has a bad

experience with a particular Dr. or the DS procedure. We want to

know the bad as well as the good so we may make the best decisions

possible.

I was grateful to Deb for sharing her personal outcome. It made me

a wiser patient. It gave me more to consider before having the

surgery and it gave me the opportunity to discuss this type of issue

with my surgeon. Thank you Deb.
