wow, Kris --- I'm SO glad you're ok and also that the obstruction was caught

in time! Just thinking about it being any worse makes me feel faint and weak

in the knees!

This really hits home that bowel obstructions can occur ANY TIME in our

post-op lives. We should always be aware that it is a possibility and

especially so if we are going to seek medical care for the symptoms. You are

correct that you are so blessed to have a surgeon who really is aware and

available. Can you imagine going to the ER and sitting around forever with

the residents, etc. not having a CLUE about what's going on? Meanwhile,

you're just deteriorating...

I'm so glad you're back and recovering well. YOu are in my thoughts and

prayers, friend.
