Guest guest
You don't need a supplement containing S. Thermophilus and L. Bulgaricus unless you're making yogurt. These two strains are required to make yogurt. They don't necessarily need to be found in a probiotic supplement. As a matter of fact, one of these two strains dies off in the stomach, according to some research I did into yogurt making back when I started SCD. There are several mail order/online sources for a legal L. Acidophilus supplement. www.pecanbread.com lists some of them. GIProHealth makes SCDophilus; Lyosan makes a legal one, and Lucy's Kitchen Shop sells that. Kirkman Labs has a legal L. Acidophilus and S. Boulardii. And Custom Probiotics has a legal L. Acidophilus. There have been a number of posts in the past year listing all the sources along with links to the website. You can search the archives. Kim M. SCD 5+ years >>>>>>>>>> i am looking for a company that sells a nondairy, gluten free, no legume, nonbifidus dietary supplement containing at least L.Acidophilus, S. Thermophilus and L. Bulgaricus.
