Guest guest
I read on Kim M.'s candida files that ginger and garlic are the two most effective natural candida treatments. Does anyone have any input on how I should use these things to help with yeast? ie does the garlic have to be raw? How do I use the ginger? Thanks! Guest guest
Alyssa, I don't think garlic has to be raw to fight candida. I say this because I have in years past used Kyolic garlic which tastes AWFUL, but is effective for candida and also viral problems, etc. So, surely if they can process that (which they say takes a year) then cooked garlic would be OK, too if you prefer. Maybe raw is stronger, but hey, just eat more! For the record, my body much prefers the bulk of my fruits and veggies raw, too. I don't know why, but it does.
