Hi -I agree that Dr. Gagner is a wonderful surgeon. What I have a problem

with is the lack of response to post-ops by Yvonne and Dr. Gagner to phone

calls. I have heard so many stories about this. One person couldn't get

feedback on her bloodwork for over a month after calling ,many times and had

so ig problems with the bloodwork and lost over a month to correct her

problems. That is where they fall short. Not in the surgery arena. Anyway

it was nice hearing from you and you sound like you are doing great.Ellen(Pam

Oh, Ivonne has been particularly negligent in this respect, I TOTALLY agree.

I personally haven't had problems when I contacted Dr. Gagner... but that

isn't good if Dr. Gagner also isn't responding promptly to phone calls. My

way

of dealing with this was to schedule an appointment - quite inconvenient in

that I always had to WAIT, but at least I got all my questions answered! LOL

I really wish that they would rectify this situation -- it's been going on

for quite

some time but Gee (the other nurse) seems to be doing a great job. I

met her at my initial consult (she took the info down for Ivonne). She's

really

nice and appears to be extremely competent. :)

I'm doing great, Ellen! :) Sometimes I get pretty tired. It's a weird

cycle. I

find that when my weight doesn't budge I get really lethargic and tired.

Then,

when it finally does go down, but body kind of 'frees up' and I have all this

energy.

Also, when my body doesn't lose weight, I really don't feel llike eating and

have no desire to eat. But, when I start losing again, I really do get

hungry and love eating!

Has anyone noticed this kind of pattern? I can be SO FULL of energy (more

than pre-op - it's gREAT), but then really, really get tired.

all the best,
